Golden Mill Capital is led by Greg Caulfield and supported by a group of experienced investors and advisors. Greg is an experienced business leader and investor with ties to the Colorado community.

Greg’s perspective: I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and knew early on that building a strong foundation of skills was essential to running a successful business. I started my career as a business consultant, earned my MBA, and spent 10 years in various marketing and general management roles at large corporations. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience navigating the complexities of major consumer products manufacturers, building products in the healthcare industry and managing a rapidly expanding business during COVID.

After years of learning what it takes to operate and grow successful global businesses, I am ready to own and operate a company here in Colorado.

With 15 years of experience in consumer products and consulting, I bring a well-rounded, practical perspective:

  • Team Leadership: Led cross-functional teams of 25+ in marketing, R&D, finance, operations, and sales.

  • Marketing: Directed marketing efforts for both a $1B household brand and a $20M healthcare devices business.

  • Manufacturing: Managed sales and marketing for a capital-intensive plastics manufacturing company.

  • Finance: Oversaw P&Ls for established businesses and emerging niche brands in growing categories.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance (University of Maryland) and MBA (Duke University).

Colorado is home for me and my family. My wife and I are hardworking and energetic, and we love taking every opportunity to camp, bike, and explore the outdoors with our two young children. In my free time, you’ll find me skiing with friends or coaching my son’s soccer team.

Owning and operating a business in Colorado is more than a professional goal — it’s a way for me to make a positive impact on my community and the people I work with.
